In line with the trend in the recent past for ventilation of livestock buildings,
we have extended our proven Original-LUBRATEC® Wind protection system to provide side ventilation.
The new version allows side ventilation to take place in livestock buildings housing cattle, pigs
and poultry and in riding stables.
The characteristic feature of our side ventilation systems is the combination
of an Original-LUBRATEC® Wind protection mesh. By taking up the wind loading on the surface of
the building, wind speed is reduced, screening provided and birds deterred. It also incorporates
a moveable HaTe® woven tarpaulin. The wind protection mesh consists of a coarse mesh combined
with a fine mesh or just the coarse mesh on its own.
The well tried and tested variations of the Original-LUBRATEC® Side ventilation
systems are very versatile. Referred to as roller ventilation, this system can be fine-tuned to
the particular demands of the farmer.
The principle is relatively simple: placed in front of an Original-LUBRATEC®
Wind protection mesh is a high quality roll-up HaTe® woven tarpaulin. This can partially close
or completely open the ventilation openings, depending on the weather or the desired temperature
regime. What is important is that the ventilation openings are never fully closed, thus avoiding
ventilation being reduced to an unacceptable minimum.
Various options for convenient operation are offered to suit the user. Options
range from simple manual movement of the HaTe® woven tarpaulin using a hand winch and right up
to automatic control of a drive mechanism (sensor options include: temperature, wind speed, rain
detector).
There are several options for actuating the HaTe® woven tarpaulins to produce
"bottom opening" or "top opening" or double roller ventilation as required.
In addition to the standard variations, we can also make design changes to provide
even further options.
